UFC heavyweight Travis Browne has put an end to the controversy involving his personal life and confirmed that he is in a romantic relationship with the champion of the organization's women's bantamweight division, Ronda Rousey.
In August, Browne's ex-wife accused Rousey of having an affair with her then-husband while they were still married. The matter gained even more controversy with Jenna Rennee's complaint from months earlier, claiming that Browne physically assaulted her.
In an interview with the North American website “MMA Fighting” this Monday (12), Browne clarified the situation and confirmed that he is in a relationship with Rousey. “Ronda and I started talking over the summer [in the United States] and now I say we are together. She is my woman and I am her man. She doesn't have a boyfriend or girlfriend. We’re not dating, we’re together,” Browne said.
Currently ranked fifth in the UFC heavyweight rankings, Browne will return to the Octagon on January 17th, when he faces Matt Mitrione. Rousey will defend her belt once again next month, when she faces Holly holm in the main attraction of UFC 193, in Melbourne, Australia.
