UFC will reduce events in Brazil in 2016, but promises greater quality

The UFC is already working hard on its calendar of events for Brazil in 2016. According to the website of the “Combate” channel, the largest MMA organization on the planet will hold an event in Rio de Janeiro between November and December 2016, in HSBC Arena.

According to the publication, four dates were scheduled for the event to be held: November 12, 19 and 26, or December 10, only one of which will be kept in the final calendar.

The HSBC Arena hosted five of the seven attractions already held in Rio, with the other two taking place in the Maracanãzinho gymnasium. The most recent was UFC 190, which featured Ronda Rousey before Bethe Correia.

In 2016, the UFC is expected to hold four events in Brazil. The first of them will possibly take place in March, and the strongest rumors indicate that it will be at the Arena da Baixada stadium, in Curitiba.
