Despite only having the third fight on the UFC 192 card, the North American Sage Northcutt attracted a lot of attention for his octagon debut. Star of the first episode of Ultimate's new reality show, “Dana White: Looking for a fight”, in which the president travels across the United States in search of talent for the organization, Northcutt, just 19 years old, did not disappoint and beat Francisco Trevino with a knockout in just 57 seconds.
But it wasn't just the young prospect's knockout that drew attention in his first appearance in the octagon. In addition to his MMA technique, Northcutt also displayed his athleticism by celebrating the triumph with a forward somersault without any momentum, all without leaving a wide smile on his face.
With the triumph, Sage “Super” Northcutt expanded his professional MMA record to six victories, all by technical knockout or submission, and no defeats. The lightweight from the “Gracie Barra Katy” team, in Texas (USA), also has five other wins and one loss in amateur MMA.
