This Monday (21), the UFC bantamweight Urijah faber was the center of a huge controversy when he launched bass accusations against the former coach of Team Alpha Male Duane “Bang” Ludwig, including acting in a racist manner and even extorting one of the gym members. Faber's criticisms reached Ludwig's ears, who quickly rebutted and denied the fighter's main allegations.

“I don’t know what the f*** he’s talking about! There are a lot of jokes in the air at the gym all the time, for him to come and point the finger at me like that. What do you mean, man?”, said Ludwig to the “MMA Fighting” website. “And I wouldn’t say I’m against women’s MMA. I get a little apprehensive seeing women punching each other in the face. That, I don't like. Women fighting grapple ou wrestling, all good. But seeing a woman punch another in the face, I don't necessarily like that. There are some great female fights, but it still makes me feel a little weird. So, yeah, I don't like training women”, said the coach, who also said that he believes that one of Faber's main problems with him is that he wasn't afraid to confront him in the gym.

“I think it’s all about him never being questioned and me always questioning him. I'm telling you. He's 'the guy,' especially in Sacramento. Nobody questions him. Anything he says happens. That's not how I work. I think we are all equal and if someone says they are going to do something, they need to go out there and do it too, like I will. That's how everyone should act”, concluded Duane, but not before provoking Faber one last time and saying that the leader of Alpha Male fears that other athletes will follow in the champion's footsteps. TJ Dillashaw and divide their training between the team in California and the “Bang” team in Colorado.
