Paulo Bananada is the new South American Shooto champion

Paulo Bananada and Willamy Chiquerim were the highlights of Shooto Brasil 15, an event held last night at Faculdade Bennet, in Rio de Janeiro.

Competing for the organization's South American belt, lightweights Paulo Bananada and Giovani Diniz had the expected rematch, as the result of the first duel caused quite a controversy. Coming in bitten after the controversial defeat in the first fight, Bananada didn't give Giovani a chance. Best in striking and ground and pound, Tatá Duarte's pupil took the title in the unanimous decision of the judges.
