After months of traveling, Conor McGregor Finally he returned home. The interim UFC featherweight champion arrived earlier this week in Dublin, Ireland, and received a truly gala reception from his compatriots.

McGregor was awaited by hundreds of people at Dublin International Airport, who immediately celebrated when the fighter appeared. In a video released by the UFC, the “Notório” appears responding to several requests for photographs, including from children imitating his haircut. At one point, McGregor jokes with a police officer who asks for photos: “This guy is supposed to be protecting me, but he's the one who's asking for photos the most,” he says, laughing.
McGregor had been in the United States since the first half of the year, as he did all his preparation in Las Vegas (USA) for UFC 189, held in July. After winning Chad Mendes, the fighter amended his stay and stayed another six weeks in the city to record TUF 22, which will air starting this week in the USA.
The Irishman is expected to return to Las Vegas in December, when he will face José Aldo for the unification of feather titles. The fight will be the main attraction of UFC 194.
