Fighter, who has been involved in some trouble in recent months, says he 'has the right to have his moments of rage'

The target of several controversies in his personal life in recent months, Anthony Johnson He defended himself from the criticism he has been receiving and assured that he does not have any type of behavioral problem that could hinder his career.

At the end of last year, the light heavyweight was temporarily suspended by the UFC due to accusations from his ex-wife, who stated that Johnson had attacked her with punches and broken some of her teeth. A few weeks ago, the athlete was once again involved in trouble, when he argued with a woman at his gym and hurled several insults on social media.

Johnson was investigated by the UFC, but ended up being released to fight this Saturday (5), against Jimi Manuwa.

“I never thought the fight would be cancelled. They can investigate me, I know I didn't do anything wrong. I'm not perfect, but I'm certainly not what the media paints me as. I have the right to have my moments of rage sometimes. My friends and family know who I am”, said Johnson, in an interview with the website of the North American broadcaster “FOX Sports”.

Johnson at UFC 191 is expected to be the target of a protest on Saturday. A group promised to hold a demonstration outside the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in Las Vegas (USA), complaining about the UFC's failure to participate in the fighter's participation in the event.
