Considered one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time, Fedor Emelianenko announced that he will compete again, although he still doesn't know in which organization this will happen. Recent rumors indicated that it would be at Bellator, but the event's president, Scott Coker, practically ruled out any possibility of that happening.

Coker has a good relationship with Emelianenko, as the Russian fought for him in the past when he was the director of the now-defunct Strikeforce. However, the director stated that, at the moment, he is not negotiating with Fedor for a fight.

“We talked, but not about a fight. I think Fedor is a legend, we had a great time with him in the past, but I think we've done enough with him”, commented Coker, in an interview with the North American website “MMA Junkie”.

However, the director does not rule out the possibility of Fedor joining the organization in the future. “Let's wait for him to come back and see what happens. Then maybe we'll have him fighting for a few years. The door is open. But let’s see what happens,” he declared.

Emelianenko was recently announced at a Bellator promotional event next month. The Russian press claims, however, that the fighter will make his return to MMA at an event held in his home country.
