After achieving an important victory last Sunday (23), when he knocked out Chad Laprise at UFC Fight Night 74, Francisco Massaranduba He gave an emotional speech in the octagon. The fighter, who would have turned 37 years old the next day, made a request to his mother in Brazil: “Throw a party for the children. I never had the means to have a birthday party, but now I can pay for one”, said the athlete.

The request was answered by the mother of the TUF Brasil 1 participant last Tuesday night. Dona Maria José held a real celebration for the children in Amarante, Piauí.
“I think there were about 100 people here. I was very happy to do my son's bidding. There were a lot of people at the party, it was truly a blessing. Children are in love with my son, I was very emotional when I found out that he made this request. My son is like that, whenever he comes to visit us he stays in another house and more than 50 children spend the day there. He buys food, clothes, throws parties,” said his mother. massaranduba, in an interview with the official UFC website.
With the victory over Laprise, massaranduba reached a record of eight wins and three losses in the UFC.
