The world's highest-paid athlete and famous sportsman, boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. has just added another millionaire “toy” to his renowned collection of luxury cars. Mayweather bought a very rare example of the Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita, which only had three units manufactured, for the mere price of US$ 4,8 million (R$ 17 million at the current price).

“My new Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita supercar worth $4.8 million. The first in the United States”, wrote Mayweather, along with an image of him next to the car, which reaches an incredible 410 km/h.

At 38 years old, Floyd Mayweather Jr has a professional boxing record of 48 wins and no losses. The recurring winner of the title of “Highest Paid Sportsman of the Year” is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Manny Pacquiao, in the most lucrative fight in boxing history. “Money”, as he is known, returns to the ring for the last fight of his contract, which could mark his retirement, on September 12th, against the American Andre Berto.
