Injury changes Erick Silva's opponent in UFC FN 74 co-main fight

The Brazilian, who would face Rick Story at the end of the month, will now face Neil Magny on a Canadian card

The UFC Fight Night 74 card underwent an important change practically at the last minute. Rick Story, who would have the second most important fight of the night against Erick silva, suffered an injury and will not be able to participate in the event, which will take place on August 23 in Saskatoon, Canada.

Details of Story's injury have not been revealed. However, the UFC acted quickly and has already chosen a replacement for the North American: it will be Neil Magny, 15th in the official welterweight rankings.

Magny will return to action shortly after his last fight, held on August 1st in Rio de Janeiro. At the time, the North American was largely dominated and finished by Demian Maia, which put an end to a streak of seven straight victories.

Erick, in turn, won two victories in a row for the first time, beating Mike Rhodes and Josh koscheck in his most recent fights. The main fight of UFC FN 74 will be between featherweights Charles of the Bronx e Max Holloway.
