Even with the defeat in 34 seconds to Ronda Rousey at UFC 190, Beth Pitbull he managed to join the list of the main names in Brazilian MMA once and for all and gained a legion of fans across the country. A small example of this was the demonstration by students from a school in Campina Grande (PB), who welcomed the fighter with a party.

The surprising display of affection from the young fans was reported by Bethe herself, through a publication on her official profile on Instagram. “Today I went to Colégio Motiva to pick up my nephew Nattan Correia and I ended up being surprised by this enormous reception and affection from these children and teenagers. I love you”, wrote the athlete, along with a video of the moment.
In addition to thanking the children for their affection, the current eighth placed player in the official ranking of the women's bantamweight category promised to turn things around after the setback against Ronda and assured that she will return to the octagon later this year. “Whatever happens, I want to come back with a belt. I will soon be announcing my next fight, later this year”, she assured.
At 32, Beth Pitbull has a record of nine wins and just one defeat, having lost his unbeaten record precisely to Ronda Rousey in his last fight.
