Last Saturday (1st), Patrick Cummins dominated Rafael Feijão and scored another victory in his career on the preliminary card of UFC 190, in Rio de Janeiro. However, the triumph came at a price, which ended up being very high for the fighter.
Cummins was badly injured from the fight, with his eye injuries visible immediately after the knockout. The situation, however, became even uglier as time passed.
In a photo published by the official UFC commentator on broadcasts in the United States, Joe Rogan, Cummins appears with both eyes very swollen and with deep bruises. Furthermore, the North American received some stitches below his right eyebrow.
With a suspected broken nose, Cummins received a six-month medical suspension after the event. The fighter achieved his eighth victory in professional MMA, against two defeats.
