For Australian Soa Palelei, fighting Antonio Pezão on the UFC 190 card is not the only reason for celebration. Before the fight, at least, the heavyweight seems to be more excited about something else: being part of the same card as his great idol Rodrigo Minotauro.

During the Media Day of UFC 190, held in a luxurious hotel in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Palelei was talking to the reporter from SUPER FIGHTS when, suddenly, he left the microphone and moved a few steps to the side to take a photo with Minotouro, who was serving the press less than a meter away.
During the chat, Palelei had already revealed his idolatry for the legendary Brazilian. “I'm a big fan of Minotauro, I've been watching him fight forever. When I arrived at media day, the first thing I did was look at my seat. 'Hopefully it's close to the Minotaur. I hope it's close to the Minotaur', I thought. And when I saw it was next to him, I said, 'Wow, how lucky!'. It’s been great,” he commented.
This Saturday (1), Soa Palelei steps into the Octagon exactly before Minotauro. The Australian faces Antonio Pezão in the second fight of the UFC 190 main card, while Minotauro faces Stefan struve in the third duel of the schedule.
