The week of UFC 190 has barely begun, the only pay-per-view of the largest MMA organization on the planet in Brazil in 2015, and the event's next stop in the country has already been confirmed. The octagon will land again on Brazilian soil on November 7th, at the Ibirapuera gym, in São Paulo (SP).
The São Paulo card will be from the series Fight Night, which includes fewer expression names and is broadcast in the United States on cable TV. São Paulo would host the finals of TUF Brasil 4, in June this year, but the event ended up being transferred to Miami (USA), and later there was even no decision for the reality show – which will take place at UFC 190. Information about UFC SP was published on the website of the “Combate” channel.
This will be the fourth time that the UFC hosts an event in São Paulo. The first of these took place at the organization's debut on Brazilian soil, in the distant year of 1998. Then, in 2013 and 2014, the capital of São Paulo received two cards at the Ginásio do Ibirapuera. Furthermore, the metropolitan region of São Paulo was also the stage for two other cards, also in 2013 and 2014, both held in the city of Barueri.
