The episode in which the Brazilian Beth Pitbull mentioned that he hoped Ronda Rousey “Don’t commit suicide” after being defeated by her after UFC 190 ended up becoming one of the most controversial during the entire promotion of the duel, as it attacked one of the biggest personal dramas of the champion, whose father killed himself when she was young. The confusion has now resurfaced, just a few days after the fight in Rio de Janeiro, and appears to have not been overcome. When commenting on the fact, during a promotional video for the fight against Bethe made by the UFC itself, Ronda was moved to tears and harshly criticized her rival's stance.

“She disrespected the biggest tragedy that ever happened to my family, and laughed about it. This isn't fight promotion! She went very far that day, and I don't forget things like that. I don’t forgive things like that,” Rousey said, unable to contain her tears.
Firstly, excerpts of Bethe trying to defend herself were shown, but then the Brazilian went on the offensive and accused Ronda of victimizing herself in the episode. “I didn't know there was a tragedy in her family, otherwise I wouldn't have even mentioned it. This is a very Brazilian expression. We say this a lot: 'Ah, I'm going to die. Oh, I'm going to kill.' Enough of creating an image of a little girl, of a poor thing, that you are not a poor thing. I really hit your friends, yes, but I didn't talk about your father. You know that,” she snapped.
The undefeated Ronda Rousey e Beth Pitbull share the octagon, and settle their scores, on August 1st, at the HSBC Arena, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ). The duel, valid for the women's bantamweight belt, will be the main fight of UFC 190, the only event in pay-per-view to be based in Brazil in 2015.
