The events held by the UFC last weekend caused important changes in the official rankings of the largest MMA organization on the planet. Starting with Conor McGregor, who, upon becoming interim champion of the featherweight division, took first place in the 66 kg category.

McGregor, who hit Chad Mendes via technical knockout at UFC 189, on Saturday (11), he gained two positions on the list. Mendes, former first place, fell two places, remaining in third place, also behind Frankie Edgar.
The Irishman also started to appear on the weight-for-weight list, which includes all the organization's athletes. “Notório” is in 14th place, and its next rival, José Aldo, maintained the first position.
The only Brazilian to participate in UFC 189, Thomas almeida also stood out in the most recent update of the list. The Chute Boxe fighter, who knocked out Brad pickett, joined the top 10 of the category, beating Francisco Rivera, Bryan caraway, Iuri Marajó and Frankie Saenz.
Who also entered the top ten in their category was Stephen Thompson, who knocked out Jake ellenberger in the TUF 21 Final, on Sunday. “Wonderboy” jumped to ninth at welterweight; Gunnar Nelson, who defeated Brandon thatch the day before, it rose to 14th. This caused Ellenberger himself, Thiago Pitbull, Neil Magny e Kelvin Gastelum lose positions on the list.
