UFC president, Dana White, revealed that McGregor made him and UFC partner Lorenzo Fertitta an unusual proposal. The Irishman wants to bet a real jackpot on him knocking out Chad Mendes in the second round of the fight.

“Do you want to know how confident this kid is? I can't believe I'm going to say this, but he said to Lorenzo and me, 'I'll bet you $3 million that I'll knock him out in the second round,'" White revealed on the radio station's "Jim Rome Show." North American “CBS Sports”.

White, however, is unlikely to accept the bet. “I like to bet, but I don't know if I'm going to accept this one. When I tell you how confident this guy is, it's fascinating. He is unique, a fascinating person to listen to. It’s fun to listen to and watch him,” he praised.
