The South Korean, former world light flyweight champion, Yo-Sam Choi (32-5, 19 ko's) was declared brain dead this morning, when it was night in Seoul, the Korean capital. Sam Choi, who has been hospitalized since the end of his last fight on December 25th, will be removed from life support and his organs will be used to save other lives. Choi was CMB champion from 1999 to 2002, when he lost the belt to Jorge Arce. The boxing community is mourning the loss of a warrior.
