The TUF Brazil 1 champion submitted Damon Jackson in Goiânia, at the end of May, but soon afterwards he was caught with the diuretic hydrochlorothiazide. The fight was reversed to no-contest and the fighter was suspended for nine months.
However, Jason is completely sure that he is innocent and intends to show this in the re-examination. “CABMMA informed me that the countertest will be carried out on July 7th. My lawyer is going to Las Vegas to closely monitor the entire procedure. I will do everything I can to reverse this result. After the result is reversed, we will sue CABMMA for moral and material damages”, he said, to the North American website “MMA Fighting”.
