The Ultimate organization acted quickly and produced, at the drop of a hat, a new promotional video for UFC 189, which will be headlined by the interim belt dispute between Conor McGregor e Chad Mendes after leaving José Aldo.
Without the long-awaited duel between rivals Aldo and McGregor, the trailer highlights the promotion of two title fights on the night of July 11th, as the event will also feature a duel between Robbie Lawler e Rory McDonald for the welterweight title.
In the video, McGregor is the first to appear on screen and is shown as the big star of the night. The Irishman, for a change, bet on a controversial speech to promote the duel. “I wouldn’t fight me, none of these guys want to fight me,” Conor said.
UFC 189 takes place on July 11th, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in Las Vegas (USA). In addition to the two title fights in the main fight, the main card of the night will also feature the Brazilian Thominhas Almeida, the only Tupiniquim representative at the event, who faces the British Brad pickett.
