After surprising the world by defeating Nate marquardt, this Saturday, at UFC-109, Chael Sonnen now focuses on the title fight against the winner of Anderson Silva e Vitor belfort. The American, famous for his controversial statements, claims to be rooting for Anderson Silva to face the current champion of the category.
“I hope Anderson wins,” he said. “I think Vitor is a more resilient fighter, if I had to choose between the two, I would take the easier path”, says Sonnen.
As announced by the president of Ultimate, Dana White, Sonnen, as the winner of the duel against Marquardt, will fight for the middleweight belt against the winner of the dispute between Vitor belfort e Anderson Silva, a duel that takes place at UFC-112, in April.
