With a fractured rib less than three weeks before UFC 189, José Aldo He should rethink his participation in the event and only fight if he is in the best physical condition. That's what he advises Wanderlei Silva, who stated that the featherweight champion must avoid “falling into a game of interests”.

The fight between Aldo and Conor McGregor, on July 11th, was one of the most expensive in promotional terms in the history of Ultimate. The fight will headline UFC 189, held close to the United States Independence Day holiday, when the organization usually holds its biggest attractions.

For Wanderlei, even with the pressure to keep the fight from falling apart, Aldo should only worry about his physical conditions. “Aldo, only fight if you are 100%. Don't fall into the game of interests. I know you've fought injured more than once, but now you're at a level and with a responsibility that no longer allows that. We want you in your best condition. We are with you, champion”, wrote the veteran on his Facebook page.

The UFC has not yet officially announced any changes to the main fight of the July 11 event, so Aldo vs. McGregor remains standing. The Brazilian will undergo more detailed tests soon to ensure whether or not he will be able to participate in the event.
