The first promotional video, titled “It's time to fight” (“It's time to fight”, in free translation) shows scenes of tension between Aldo and McGregor during the world tour to promote the event, which passed through Brazil, the United States, Canada, England and Ireland. The video ends with images from the highlight of the series, when, in Dublin, the Irishman stole the Brazilian's belt and started a huge mess.

The second trailer, “Rule the World” (“Dominate the world”, in free translation), shows the rivalry between the two opponents. The video's soundtrack is New Zealand singer Lorde's version of the song “Everybody wants to rule the world”, by the group Tears for Fears. In the video, one of the highlights is McGregor's reaction after beating Dennis Siver, in January this year. On that occasion, the Irishman jumped over the octagon fence and went to the place where José Aldo he watched the fight try to intimidate him. The Brazilian's response was emphatic. “Sometimes you pay a lot for the language and when we face each other, we'll see who the real champion is”, he said.

José Aldo e Conor McGregor make one of the most anticipated fights of the year on July 11th, in the main event of UFC 189. The card in Las Vegas (USA) will also feature a welterweight title fight between the champion Robbie Lawler and the Canadian challenger Rory McDonald.
