Since this Thursday morning (11), MMA fans in Brazil can now buy tickets for UFC 190, an event that takes place on August 1st, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ). Right away, what caught our attention when selling tickets for the fight night was the price of some tickets, which were sold for R$12, a value corresponding to more than 15 minimum wages.

According to the website that sells the tickets, the sector called “VIP Experience”, whose prices vary between R$2 and R$12 thousand, includes “catering services (food and drink), reserved seats at the weigh-in, meet & greet (meeting) with a guest fighter and octagon girl, photos inside the octagon and with the UFC belt, credential souvenir and kit with UFC products.”
On the other hand, fans who want to attend without so much luxury and hype, but also without spending a small fortune to do so, will have to pay at least R$ 295, the amount referring to the ticket to the upper stands. There are half-price tickets, with a 50% discount, available for all categories, but the right is only granted upon proof from the beneficiary.
