Coming off five losses in his last six fights, Dan Henderson is going through the most delicate moment of his long career in MMA. However, anyone who thinks that the veteran feels excessively pressured by this is mistaken.

About to take part in the main fight of UFC Fight Night 68, against Tim Boetsch, Henderson, the oldest active UFC athlete at 44 years old, minimizes any chance of retirement and guarantees that he will complete the three fights he has left under contract.

“It’s just another fight, but at the same time, I put pressure on myself to win every fight. This will probably be a little higher coming from defeats, for sure. But I never tell myself that 'if I lose, I'm finished'. I'm going to fulfill my contract and see what happens after that. My body feels great, so I'm moving forward. I have this fight and two more in my contract, so I will fight for at least another year”, explained Henderson, in an interview with the website of the North American broadcaster “FOX Sports”.

The fight between Henderson and Boetsch will be the main attraction of UFC FN 68, this Saturday (6), which will also feature two Brazilians: Thiago tavares faces Brian ortega e Ricardo Demente faces Jake collier.
