The UFC on FOX 16 card, an event that will take place on July 25th in Chicago, United States, has undergone an important change. Anthony Pettis, former lightweight champion, suffered an elbow injury and will have to undergo surgery, thus leaving him out of the fight he would have against Myles Jury.

The UFC acted quickly and called up the Brazilian Edson Barboza to replace it. At 29 years old, Barboza will try to recover from the defeat suffered in his last fight, against Michael Johnson, in Porto Alegre. In total, his professional MMA record is 15 wins and three losses.

The main fight of UFC on FOX 16 will be a fight for the UFC bantamweight belt, between the champion, TJ Dillashaw, and Renan Barao. The event has a third confirmed Brazilian, Antônio Braga Neto, who faces Zak Cummings.
