Mark Hunt will step into the Octagon this weekend, in the main fight of UFC Fight Night 65, in Adelaide, Australia, with a bigger goal in mind. More than defeating your opponent, Stipe Miocic, the New Zealander hopes to pave the way for a possible rematch against his last tormentor, Fabricio Werdum.

Werdum knocked out Hunt in November last year, in Mexico, in a fight that put the interim heavyweight belt at stake. Hunt hopes to face the Brazilian again and maintain a milestone in his career: “I've never lost a rematch, ever. Not even in kickboxing. I've always won the rematches, and I'm not going to lose another fight to him, that's for sure”, he said, in an interview with the “Australia MMA” website.

However, Hunt believes that Werdum will not win the straight belt against the champion Cain Velazquez. “I'm leaning towards Velasquez. Fabrício is a great fighter, one of the best in the world, so who knows? It’s MMA and anything can happen, but I’m betting on Cain,” he said.
