The official weigh-in for UFC 186, held this Friday afternoon (24) in Montreal, Canada, was marked by a curious moment. Fighters on the preliminary card, Olivier Aubin-Mercier and David Michaud, appeared relaxed as they stepped off the scale after making weight for their fight, the fourth of Saturday's attraction.

TUF Nations runner-up, Aubin-Mercier surprised his “look-alike” Michaud at the time of the official face-off. The Canadian gave the North American a cupcake, which made his rival laugh and provided a friendly photo. The two will fight in the lightweight division, whose weight limit is 70,7 kg, including the extra pound of tolerance given to fights that are not valid for the belt.
The rest of the weigh-in went without any major scares. Protagonists of the event, Demetrious Johnson and Kyoji Horiguchi had no difficulties making weight, thus confirming the fight that will put the UFC flyweight belt at stake.

The same happened with the two Brazilians who will participate in the event. Fábio Maldonado weighed 97,5 kg, exactly the combat limit in combined weight that will result in Quinton Rampage Jackson. The American, former light heavyweight champion, used the extra pounds, reaching 97,9 kg. After getting off the scale, the two look into each other's eyes.
Thomas almeida, who will open the main card of the event, also beat the bantamweight limit without any problems. His opponent, Yves Jabouin, stayed within the weight limit, but ended up messing up when trying to show off with a nunchaku after stepping off the scale, dropping the piece on the floor and becoming embarrassed.
The most tense aspect of the weigh-in was that of Michael Bisping and CB Dollaway, who, after reaching the weight limit for the middleweight division, were arguing for several seconds, to the apprehension of Dana White, president of the UFC, who was trying to break up the scene.
