The Brazilian stated that he will soon meet with the board of directors of the Brazilian Taekwondo Confederation (CBTKD) to facilitate his plans to participate in the Olympic Games. “I'm excited about the opportunity. On Wednesday, I'm going to talk to the president of the confederation and see what the possibilities are. I'll try to do all the selections and see what's possible. I hope everything goes well”, he commented.
Despite his desire, Anderson stated that he will participate in the tryouts for the games, which will take place at the beginning of next year. “Also because [failing to participate in the qualifiers] would be unfair to other teammates and other athletes who have been in the Olympic cycle for a long time, doing long-term work,” he explained.
