In addition to his fourth consecutive victory, all by knockout or submission, and the consolidation of his name as one of the favorites to become number one contender for the middleweight belt, Luke Rockhold also took home US$50 (approximately R$150) as a bonus for his performance in the fight against Lyoto Machida, the main event of UFC on FOX 15.
Besides Rockhold, the Hawaiian Max Holloway, who beat the former challenger to the now-defunct WEC belt Cub swanson, also took home a check worth R$150, as a reward for presenting one of the “Performances of the Night”.
In addition to the duo, two other fighters also received their US$50 checks. Are they: Gian Villante e Corey anderson. For the three-round battle, in which Anderson had the advantage and ended up suffering an upset with a knockout in the final stretch of the third round, they were awarded the “Fight of the Night” bonus.
