UFC on FOX 15, which will be held this weekend in Newark, New Jersey (USA), will be fundamental to the direction of the North American organization's middleweight division. The two main fights of the night will feature three athletes in prominent positions in the category, who will step into the octagon with an eye on a chance to fight for the belt soon.

Last opponent of the current champion, Chris Weidman, Lyoto Machida faces Luke Rockhold with the certainty that a new victory, his second consecutive in the UFC, would be enough to guarantee him a new title shot. The same thinks Rockhold, former Strikeforce champion, who, after defeating Costas Philippou, Tim Boetsch and Michael Bisping, hopes to get another victory over Machida and compete for the title.
However, there is one more athlete who has his eye on fighting for the belt. In the second most important fight of the night, Ronaldo Jacare will seek his fifth consecutive victory inside the octagon, the eighth in a row in his career. The Brazilian, however, had his intentions shaken by the change of his opponent: instead of facing the well-ranked Yoel romero, Jacaré will face an old acquaintance, Chris Camozzi, whom he defeated with ease in his UFC debut.
The event will also feature the Brazilian Diego Brandao, who will face Jimy Hettes in a fight valid for the featherweight division. And, before stepping into the octagon, the athletes must face the scales at the event's official weigh-in, which will take place this Friday (17th) starting at 17 pm Brasília time.
