The long-awaited rematch has a date set again. The UFC announced that TJ Dillashaw e Renan Barao will face each other for the organization's bantamweight belt on July 25th, in the main attraction of UFC on FOX 16, which will be held in the city of Chicago (USA).

The two athletes faced each other in May last year, with Dillashaw surprising and winning the title after a dominant performance over Barão. The rematch was first scheduled for August, at UFC 177, but the Brazilian fell ill the day before the fight due to the weight loss process and ended up being cut from the event.

The new attempt to hold the fight was made for UFC 186, on April 25th, but this time, it was Dillashaw who was injured and ended up cut. In this way, the bantamweight athletes will face each other again one year and two months after the fateful fight at UFC 173.

Also announced for the same event was a fight between former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis and promise Myles Jury. Both athletes are coming off a defeat: Pettis was dominated by Rafael dos Anjos in March and lost the category belt, while Jury was defeated by Donald Cerrone in January. The fight will be the co-main attraction of UFC on FOX 16.

Another fight confirmed for the event is the duel of muses Miesha Tate e Jessica Eye, whose winner will possibly compete for the UFC women's bantamweight division belt, currently owned by Ronda Rousey.
