Even away from MMA since November 2013, Georges St Pierre remains linked to the sport that gave him fame and closely follows one of today's main clashes: between José Aldo e Conor McGregor. In GSP's opinion, Aldo is the best fighter on the planet, but he should be careful, as McGregor is not just a “talker” and can deliver on what he has been saying.

"José Aldo He is an extravagant, very dangerous fighter, with that aura of invincibility around him. He's the best pound-for-pound in the world right now. That’s what I believe,” said St. Pierre, in an interview with former fighter Chael Sonnen on the “You're Welcome” podcast. “And Conor McGregor can be either very smart or very stupid. But I think he is quite skilled and can deliver what he says. I believe Conor is trying to play that game of getting into Aldo's head. Maybe this will work, maybe not. We’ll see what will happen”, he analyzed.
