With massive exposure in the specialized media or not, an Olympic medal on the CV, appearances in cinema and a strong place in North American popular culture, Ronda Rousey is, arguably, the biggest name in MMA today. However, UFC president Dana White believes that it is possible to further expand the scope of this statement and state, without fear of making mistakes, that the blonde is the biggest star in the organization's history.

“She is so hardworking, so focused, so amazing. Couldn't say enough good things about her. She is one of the only ones who can do everything she sets her mind to. She is number one among the athletes I have worked with,” said the manager, in an interview with “AM 570 Sports” radio, placing Ronda above names like Tito Ortiz, Chuck Liddell, Brock Lesnar, Anderson Silva, Georges St Pierre ou Jon Jones.

In MMA, the blonde has an undefeated record of eleven wins in eleven fights, all by knockout or submission – with her traditional armbar. In addition, Ronda also participates in cinema, in successful series such as “The Fast and the Furious” and “The Expendables”, and recently ventured into the world of pro wrestling (telecatch, in Brazil), with a special appearance alongside star The Rock on Wrestlemania 31.

Rousey returns to the Octagon on August 1st, in Brazil, when she puts her belt on the line against the also undefeated Brazilian Beth Pitbull, in the main fight of UFC 190. The event takes place at the HSBC Arena, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ).
