Recently, the president of the UFC Dana White ruled out a return de Georges St Pierre, away from MMA for an indefinite period since the end of 2013, to the organization. However, in St. Pierre's own words, the manager may have been hasty in his assessment. During an interview, the Canadian revealed that, despite not having concrete plans, he has considered returning to the octagon.

“He (Dana White) says he’s sure I won’t come back. That's his opinion. I train and stay in shape. I have marks on my body because I hurt it easily, I train hard. That doesn't mean I'm coming back, but it doesn't mean I'm not coming back. I'm thinking about it”, said the former champion, in an interview with “The Winnipeg Sun”. “Dana always does what is good on the business side. I was never upset with him, on the contrary, he had a good reason to say that, to come back, you have to have that 'hunger'”, he added.

Before making a decision about his eventual return to the octagon, GSP already has another, much clearer objective in mind: helping his training partner Rory McDonald, which faces Robbie Lawler in July, to win the title that was once his. “What would give me the most pleasure is to see Rory winning the title. I feel like I achieved something new. My duty is to help you. Now, I am where I am and, if there has to be an end, I ended up at the top. I always want to go back. I would snap my fingers and it wouldn’t be so difficult to get back into fighting shape”, he guaranteed.

At 33, Georges St Pierre He has a professional record of 25 wins and two losses. Former welterweight champion, “Rush”, as he is known, vacated the 77 kg category belt shortly after his ninth title defense, in which he won John hendricks at UFC 167. At the time, without further explanation, GSP announced that he would be stepping away from MMA for an indefinite period of time, but left the possibility of one day returning to the sport up in the air.
