Throughout her four-year professional career, the undefeated Ronda Rousey used his traditional armbar to win nine of his eleven fights. This time, however, the blonde's traditional scam had a very unusual target: American TV presenter Jimmy Fallon. Ronda's “submission” over Fallon live took place during the UFC champion's appearance on the “Tonight Show” on North American TV.

Urged by Fallon to demonstrate the move that made her famous, Ronda ended up agreeing, but not before agreeing on a “safe word” so that the presenter could get out of the position when he said it. Once the agreement was made, Ronda didn't even execute the blow in its entirety and just showed how the key puts pressure on the opponent's arm, making him give up. Such a move was enough to make Fallon shout “Rumpelstiltskin” (the chosen “safe word”, an antagonist from fairy tales), quickly giving up.
After the “finalization”, Fallon, who had previously played with the original name of the armbar in Japanese (“Juji Gatame”), said that the experience had been “too intense” for him and compared the feeling of being caught by Ronda sticking his own head in a lion's mouth.
At 28 years old, Ronda has a record of 11 wins in 11 professional fights. The bantamweight champion puts her belt on the line again on August 1st, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ). On the date, the blonde faces the also undefeated challenger Beth Pitbull in the main fight of UFC 190.
