Amilcar Alves will make his international debut in early 2010, the fighter recently signed a contract with the Shine Fights organization. But before the fight on American soil, the Nova União athlete faces the black belt Fernando Paulon at Platinum Fight, an event taking place tonight at Clube Botafogo, in the capital of Rio de Janeiro. Amilcar spoke to the website SUPER FIGHTS, right after the weigh-in and was focused on the duel against the BTT athlete.
“I'm very focused on my fight. I see things little by little, I can’t be distracted,” she said.
“I'm a professional and this fight is worth as much to me as any other fight would be, they always have the same weight and the same value”, concluded the athlete.
