Chael Sonnen returns to submission and faces Renato Babalu at Metamoris 6

Chael Sonnen is back to competitions submission. The former UFC fighter will participate in Metamoris 6, an event that will take place on May 9th and will probably take place in the city of Los Angeles (USA). His opponent will be an old acquaintance: Brazilian Renato Babalu.

Sonnen and Babalu have already faced each other once, in MMA. The meeting took place at UFC 55, in October 2005, with the Brazilian winning by submission, with a triangle.

This will be Babalu's debut at Metamoris. Sonnen will have his second fight, as, in August 2014, he ended up being submitted by André Galvão in the main fight of Metamoris 4.

Metamoris fights last 20 minutes, during which time points are not distributed. In this way, a winner is only named in the event of a submission, and the fight ends in a draw if it completes 20 minutes.
