Bethe Correia remains firm and strong with its intentions of being the next challenger for the UFC women's bantamweight division belt, currently held by Ronda Rousey. The Brazilian, seventh in the category's official ranking, once again shot at the champion, who last Saturday (28) finished Zingano cat in just 14 seconds.

Correia, who like Rousey is undefeated in MMA, with nine wins in nine fights, guaranteed that she will maintain her aggressive style even in the face of the dangers offered by the champion. “Every day I challenge Ronda, I ask for the fight. I'll do whatever it takes. I already feel like the champion. I don't feel like Ronda is the champion. I feel like I'm the champion and all I'm missing is the belt. I'll do whatever it takes. I'm going to go in there and kill her, beat her, beat her. If that’s what it takes, I’ll do it,” said the Brazilian, at a press conference during UFC 184.
The Brazilian asked again to be chosen as the champion's next rival. “I'm waiting for the UFC's decision. I'm ready. I've done everything I could have done. I've fought with them all, I've challenged them all. Dana White [UFC president] wants me to dance? Maybe I can dance a little, if that's what you want. I’m going to do everything I can, because I really want this fight.”
Finally, Bethe praised Rousey's initiative in being one of those responsible for bringing women to the UFC, but classified the champion as selfish. “She did something good, which was bringing women’s fights to the UFC. She convinced Dana to do it. But I don't think she's a good champion. I think she is selfish. She only thinks about herself, about making films, about dressing well, showing off. I won't be like that. I'm going to be a real champion, I'm going to do something for people. I will be the people’s champion,” she promised her.
