St. Pierre celebrates new UFC anti-doping actions: 'A big step'

Since leaving MMA for an indefinite period of time, Georges St Pierre became one of the main spokespeople for the crusade against the use of illegal substances in sport. For this reason, as soon as he became aware of the UFC's new anti-drug policy, announced at a press conference this Wednesday (19), GSP went public to celebrate the package of measures, which includes a substantial increase in the number of tests and greater rigor in punishments for athletes caught.

With a record of 25 wins and just two defeats. Georges St Pierre, 33 years old, retired from MMA at the end of 2013, after defending his belt for the ninth consecutive time against John hendricks. Among the main justifications presented by the former champion at the time was precisely his dissatisfaction with the anti-doping policy practiced.
