In what was called “The fight of the year in boxing”, Filipino Manny Pacquiao did not give Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto a chance and won his seventh world title this Saturday, in Las Vegas. The victory came in the twelfth round of the clash valid for the World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight belt.
With the triumph, Pacquiao reaches his seventh achievement in seven different categories. In his career, the Asian has 50 wins (38 by knockout), three defeats and two draws.
