Since the end of last year, Miesha Tate e Beth Pitbull have shown interest in facing each other and have exchanged provocative statements via the press. However, due to various circumstances, a duel between the two has not yet taken place. After winning Sara McMann at UFC 183, last weekend, Miesha once again reinforced her desire to fight Bethe and challenged the Brazilian once again.

"I want the Bethe Correia right away. Who's with me? I will recover quickly, four weeks to recover (the fracture in the orbit of) my eye, and then I will be ready to schedule this fight”, published the fighter on her official profile on Twitter, tagging President Dana White and the matchmakers (responsible for matchmaking) Sean Shelby.

The brunette's challenge received the support of several fans, including the announcer Bruce Buffer, who praised Miesha's “warrior spirit.” On the other hand, Canadian Sarah Kauffman didn't like the idea and suggested that she be Tate's next opponent. “So, since you will recover quickly, Miesha Tate, would you be ready to fight at UFC 186 in Montreal? Canada likes tough fighters, foreign or not.

Visibly obstinate to face Beth Pitbull, Miesha Tate rejected Kauffman's proposal, but took the opportunity to work as a matchmaking and suggest herself who would be the ideal opponent for the Canadian and explained the reason. “The point is that I've been asking for this fight since even before they cast me to face the Sara McMann, but Bethe was hurt. And I think that Sara McMann against Sarah Kauffman would be an excellent fight”, he analyzed.

At 28, Miesha Tate has a record of 16 wins and five losses. Former champion of the now defunct Strikeforce, Miesha currently occupies second place in the official ranking of the women's bantamweight category. Already Beth Pitbull, 31 years old, won the nine fights he had as a professional.
