UFC President Dana White's recent statement, which stated that Anderson Silva will fight for the middleweight belt if he wins Nick Diaz, did not bother the Ronaldo Jacare. The Brazilian, who was hoping to fight for the title in case of victory in his next fight, stated that he is not worried about fighting for the belt immediately, and that, if he is passed over in favor of Anderson, he will accept it.

Jacaré has won all four of his fights since arriving in the UFC in 2013. On February 28, at UFC 184, he will face Yoel romero, and, if he wins, he will accept if his opportunity to compete for the title does not arise. “That doesn't worry me at all, because I'm not worried about these things. I worry about other things. That's what worries me the least. I'm a Christian man and I'm not going to worry about things in life. It really can happen and, if it does, it is because it was God's permission. If it happens, I'll root for Anderson. To say it wouldn't bother would be a lie. But it’s not something that would make me very angry”, said the Brazilian, in an interview with the “Combate” channel website.
In the same event in which he will face Romero, Vitor belfort will defy Chris Weidman for the middleweight division title. “I will support Belfort. We need the belt and the quicker it comes to Brazil, the better. But I think it will be a tough fight for him. Weidman has the youth, strength and confidence of the champion there. This can complicate Vitor, but Vitor has a history and his star shines at the right time. I'm rooting for her to shine on February 28th. He can surprise anyone in MMA. I will be ready to fight either of them and I believe I can beat both of them,” he concluded.
