Packed with an excellent moment in the UFC, Rafael dos Anjos will try to do something unprecedented on March 14, in the main fight of UFC 185: become the first Brazilian to win the lightweight belt of the main MMA organization on the planet. To do so, he will need to defeat the tough champion Anthony Pettis, who has been running over all his opponents recently.

Even so, Dos Anjos is confident that he will defeat the champion and steal the belt. To do this, the fighter relies on his career in the UFC, which, after moments of ups and downs, gave him the chance to fight for the title. “I've been in the UFC for six years, with 17 fights, always evolving. That was the best news I've received in years. I’m going to take this belt to Brazil”, said the Brazilian, in an interview with the official UFC website in Brazil.

Having drawn attention lately for his sharp Muay Thai, Dos Anjos hopes to return to his roots and defeat the champion with his specialty: jiu-jitsu. “It would be a dream to win this title with a submission. Even more so because Pettis is coming off two victories like this, everyone is talking about how good his ground game is,” said the Brazilian.
