Therefore, to be released to face Weidman, the Brazilian would have to undergo a series of exams without prior notice.

Although the fight is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles, California (USA), exams are being carried out by the Nevada Athletic Commission, as the fight was originally scheduled for Las Vegas. The entity's executive director, Bob Bennett, revealed that Belfort was tested three times and passed each time. “Both he and his wife [Joana] are being extremely cooperative, polite, professional and friendly during the process”, praised the director, who added that the Brazilian will still be tested once again before the fight.

The fight between Weidman and Belfort will be the main attraction of UFC 184, which will also be highlighted in Ronda Rousey x Zingano cat e Ronaldo Jacare x Yoel romero.
