After being eliminated from the program Dancing with the Stars, a reality show that in Brazil was known as “Dança dos Famosos”, the former UFC champion, Chuck liddell returned to training together with his coach John Hackleman. The “Iceman” stated that he can return to fight in the UFC, despite Dana White's statements, stating that the fighter was retiring, after the defeat against Shogun.
“I still love fighting, I needed some time off and 'Dancing' (Dancing with the Stars) was important to focus, get in shape and train with good guys,” said the fighter.
Liddell, who for years was considered the best light heavyweight fighter in the UFC, in his last five fights he only won Wanderlei Silva at UFC-79 and was defeated by Quinton “Rampage Jacskon”, Keith Jardine, Rashad evans and in his last performance he was knocked out by Mauricio Shogun, at UFC-97, held in April this year.
