José Aldo will talk to UFC about better salaries

After complaining about his remuneration at an official UFC event, the featherweight champion reveals that he will have a meeting with managers to try to reach an agreement

The complaints of José Aldo seem to have yielded results almost immediately. After demanding better salaries for fighters during a UFC question and answer session, the featherweight champion will have a conversation with the organization's directors in search of a better salary agreement.

In Uberlândia for a charity game, the fighter spoke to Globo Esporte from Triângulo Mineiro. He revealed that he will have a conversation with the directors in search of better conditions for the athletes.

“We will have a conversation about this now and I will be able to talk more after it happens. We always want improvement. The athlete who does not seek this evolution, whether in training or in anything else, needs to retire”, said Aldo, who once again insisted on better recognition for the event.

“This has to be in MMA and in any sport. I can certainly say this to everyone in MMA: we do it, we put on a show and we deserve to be better paid”, added the champion.
