UFC confirms two more fights on the event card in Porto Alegre

TUF Brazil champion Cezar Mutante faces Sam Alvey, while Adriano Martins faces the tough Rustam Khabilov

The UFC confirmed this Thursday (18) two more fights for the event that will be held in Porto Alegre (RS), on February 22, 2015 at Ginásio do Gigantinho, which is part of the Beira-Rio complex.

TUF Brazil 1 champion in the middleweight division, Cezar Mutant returns to fight in his home country against the North American Sam alvey. At 29 years old, his training partner Vitor belfort he will make his sixth fight in the UFC, having four wins and one loss under his belt in the Octagon. Alvey has had two fights, with one win and one loss, and is coming off a triumph over Dylan Andrews in November.

Another confirmed fight is in the lightweight category. Adriano Martins will try for his second consecutive victory against the tough Rustam Khabilov. The Amazonian, who is coming off a victory over Juan Puig, is 2-1 in the UFC, with his only setback in the octagon being against Donald Cerrone, in January. Khabilov is coming off a defeat to Ben henderson, in June, when he lost his undefeated record in the UFC. Before that, he had three consecutive victories in the organization.

In addition to these fights, the main attraction of the event was also confirmed: it will be between light heavyweights Rashad evans e Glover Teixeira.
