Jon Jones and Ronda follow in the footsteps of the UFC and strike a deal with Reebok

Champions now have a personal contract, independent of Ultimate's collective agreement with the brand

After closing a million-dollar deal at the beginning of December for exclusivity in the supply of UFC sports equipment for the next five years, Reebok has just reached an individual agreement with two of the Octagon's biggest stars: the champions Jon Jones e Ronda Rousey. The announcement was made by the athletes themselves, through their social media profiles.

"My girl Ronda Rousey and I are ready to rock the game with Reebok. We’re about to take sports gear to a new level,” Jones wrote on his personal Facebook account. Instagram, implying that the new agreement also includes participation in the development of specialized articles.

By the middle of this year, Jon Jones was an athlete Nike, a company that today no longer has activities linked to MMA, and Ronda Rousey used UFC's own production materials. The pair will now join the lightweight champion Anthony Pettis and former welterweight champion John hendricks, two other athletes from the organization who already have an agreement with Reebok.
